How you had your say

We sought feedback from people about the draft National Biosecurity Strategy Action Plan (Action Plan).

We invited feedback from people across different biosecurity sectors.

These included:

  • Industry

  • Research organisations

  • Representative bodies (e.g. peak bodies, environmental and community groups)

  • Non-government organisations

  • Communities and individuals

  • State territory and local governments

  • Australian Government

Who engaged

We received 52 submissions to our survey. This included feedback from government, industry, representative bodies, researchers, non-government organisations and individuals. We have published 40 responses, as 11 responses were submitted in confidence, 1 was a duplicate.

What happens next

We will now review and consider your feedback to finalise the National Biosecurity Strategy Action Plan. The final Action Plan will be sent to all state and territory agriculture ministers and the federal Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry for endorsement. Once endorsed, the final Action Plan will be made publicly available.
