The export Cost Recovery Implementation Statements (CRIS) 2026–27 have now been published on the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry 2026–27 Agricultural Exports Cost Recovery Implementation Statements webpage.
We sought feedback from people on the draft CRIS 2026–27.
We invited feedback from stakeholders across agricultural export industries.
This included, but was not limited to:
Exporters
Export registered sites
Farmers/producers
Packers
Industry representatives
Manufacturers
Wholesale trades
Registered establishment occupiers
Authorised officers
You gave feedback through:
face-to-face meetings held around Australia
industry meetings and webinars
an online survey
written submissions.
We received a total of 61 responses. This included feedback from individuals, industry bodies, agribusinesses and advocacy groups.
Of the submissions received, 44 have given publication permission and are available to view on our submissions page. Some are anonymous and have had any confidential details redacted. The 17 remaining responses have elected to remain private and unpublished.
Feedback was reviewed and considered by the department to finalise the export CRIS and ensure export regulatory services are sustainably funded and continue to meet export demands into the future. Revised legislative instruments will be tabled in Parliament prior to the implementation of revised fees and charges from 1 July 2026.
