Plantation development concessional loans

A concessional loan product has been proposed by the Australian Government as a potential mechanism to support growth in the plantation estate and support the ambitious goal of a billion new plantation trees.

The demand for wood products are increasing while plantation expansion in Australia is stalled and in some areas decreasing.

With a growing population, the need to reduce emissions and store carbon, and increasing demand for wood products - we need additional plantations to be established now, to provide wood and fibre into the future.
