The National Standard for Organic and Bio-dynamic Produce is Australia’s export standard for organic and bio-dynamic produce.
This page will be used for consulting with you on proposed amendments to the National Standard. It will also outline the outcomes of proposals.
Your feedback will help us keep our National Standards relevant and practical for the industries they support.
The National Standards Advisory Committee (NSAC) continues to identify sections of the National Standard for review and individual areas for further analysis.
The next meeting of the NSAC is scheduled for February 2024.

About the National Standard
The National Standard provides the requirements for the labelling of goods which either state or imply they have been produced under organic or bio-dynamic systems. It includes requirements for production, processing, storage, transportation, labelling and importation of produce and aligns with the requirements of our international trading partners.
