The National Standard for Organic and Bio-Dynamic Produce (National Standard) is Australia’s technical export standard for organic and bio-dynamic goods.
To ensure the National Standard remains fit for purpose, we frequently consult stakeholders through Have Your Say on applications for amendments received from industry. Amendment applications are reviewed quarterly by the department and the National Standard Advisory Committee (NSAC), with decisions often guided by consultation insights from this platform.

Previous consultation
We sought industry feedback on 7 applications proposing changes to sections 1.2, 1.23, 5 and appendices H and L of the National Standard. This consultation has now closed, and review of feedback is underway.
