Draft report for the review of biosecurity import requirements for fresh Persian lime fruit from Mexico

We prepared this draft report to assess the proposal by Mexico for market access to Australia for commercially-produced fresh Persian lime fruit from Mexico. The draft report proposes that the importation be permitted, subject to a range of biosecurity requirements.

We released the draft report on 6 April 2021 for public consultation, which has now closed.

We are considering all comments received on the draft report. Your feedback is helping to inform our final report. We expect to release the final report in early 2022.
