We sought your feedback via a Have Your Say survey about the role of the Inspector-General of Animal Welfare and Live Animal Exports (IGAWLAE). Feedback informed development of the role of the IGAWLAE.

Submissions

Submissions to the draft report have been published and can be viewed on this webpage, where permitted. This has been done to help provide transparency and insights into the range of stakeholder views received. A total of 24 submissions were received during the consultation process.

  • We have published 19 submissions, where the necessary permissions were provided.

    • Some submitters indicated they wanted their submissions to be de-identified, and we have removed identifying details from these submissions prior to publishing.

    • In all of the published submissions, signatures and personal contact details of individuals have been removed in the interests of ensuring privacy.

  • 4 submissions were marked as confidential, and/or have not been published at the request of the submitter. These submissions have not been published.

  • 1 submission has not been published as no permission has been received to do so.

For publication, submissions are numbered sequentially from 1 to 19. The allocated numbers have no significance.
